Due to expansion within the company, our client has an urgent requirement for workshop based service engineer in Birmingham. This opportunity offers the chance to work a varied and challenging role, working on a variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment. Plenty of training will also be available to develop and expand your knowledge and skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

*Servicing, maintaining, repairing and fault finding on gas, diesel and electric
forklift trucks.
* 80% of the role will be workshop based, a van is provided for call outs to
breakdowns in the midlands area.
* Thorough examinations & PDIs
*Mon- Fri 42.5 hour week
*Must have a positive, can do attitude and a strong work ethic

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

*Forklift experience essential
*Multi-skilled, mechanical and electrical experience on forklifts highly desirable
* Loler/thorough examination qualified highly desirable

Benefits Package

*Basic Salary of £18,000-£25,000
*Option of doing plenty of overtime at time and a half. Other engineers are earning
£30,000+
*20 days holiday + bank holidays
*Company Pension plan offered
