Job Overview:

We are looking for passionate and skilled Food Technology Teachers to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE and have achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). We also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and those with equivalent qualifications, such as DTLLS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students.
• Teach various aspects of food preparation, nutrition, and culinary skills.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in Food Technology.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to food and nutrition.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (DTLLS or similar).
• Passion for teaching Food Technology and inspiring students.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• NQTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
