This post will report into the Food Manufacturing Technologies department and be part of the Product Innovation Team.
Responsibilities will be to:
-Lead the team, and undertake a range of activities including, research, consultancy and training
-Design, deliver and promote Food Safety Management systems, Hygienic engineering, and practice related services
-Interpret scientific results stemming from testing and trials
-Undertake business development within the Food Safety Management area
-Respond to Technical Enquiries

The successful Food Development Technologist will have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
· A degree in a relevant subject. Relevant higher degree could be an advantage
· Demonstrable understanding and experience of NPD and Food Processing
· Technical skills within the food industry across multiple food sectors.
· Good verbal and communication skills
· Effective time management skills
· IT literate
· Full UK/EU driving licence
