Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a F&B Team Member plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service. Do you enjoy helping people and providing a great service?

The Hours: This is a part time position. Working an average 22 hours per week, which will be spread across the week. Working 5 days over 7. Please note that due to peak periods during the summer period you may be required to work more hours however during the winter season your hours will be reduced. This is an annualised hours position which means despite of the increase and decrease of hours you will still receive 12 equal payments throughout the year.

Whilst the café is open between 10:00 and 17:00, some members of staff are asked to start their shift at 09:00 and on occasion during peak season there could be the odd finish of 18:30. Weekends are our busiest time and we would expect applicants to work weekends on occasion. This can be discussed at interview.           

The Salary: £16,010 per annum, which is the equivalent of NLW at £8.21 per hour.

During busy periods we can see up to 2,000 visitors a day at Chartwell, the majority of whom will visit the café at least once during the day.

The job can be challenging and requires a lot of stamina. You can be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, for example, working on a till or running up and down stairs and outside, delivering food.

Due to the location of our property, there is no public transport access and therefore we would encourage you to consider how you would commute here prior to applying.

What you'll be doing

With your love of working with people, positive attitude and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet. Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served looks delicious. From time to time you may be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep, but your core focus will be from a front of house perspective
