What it's like to work here
We are more than just a normal coffee shop; we are part of a bigger food movement within National Trust. Using fresh seasonal produce, recipes inspired by our unique places and employing a collaborative workforce every day is different. Set in the heart of rural Northamptonshire, Lyveden is a remarkable survivor of the Elizabethan age.
The Cottage Tearoom, located just a stone’s throw from the lodge, offers our visitors the chance to enjoy freshly baked goodies, delicious soup and refreshing beverages. The tearoom looks out over breath-taking views, and is a popular stop for those who come and visit us.
The adjoining Lyveden manor house has recently been acquired by the National Trust and is currently being prepared as our new facilities hub for future visits. When this opens it will revolutionise the visitors experience of Lyveden and allow us to better show Thomas Tresham’s vision. This exciting development means there is a lot of opportunity for career growth at Lyveden.
