Within Newstaff we are currently seeking a Food and Beverage supervisor to work within one of our well established hotel in the MK44 area. With the building being around since 1983 there is a strong historic background of the business. The role of offer is on a full time permanent basis with the opportunity to prgress within the business as they try to do the same to become a top leisure envistronment for customers to visit.

Duties of the Assistant Food and Beverage manager will involve;

  • The supervision of other members of your shift in all their tasks and responsible for the smooth running of the Restaurant and Bar, in liaison with Manager on duty
  • Custody of all stocks within dining and bar areas (foodstuffs, crockery, cutlery, disposables, linen, etc.)
  • The service of food and beverages in all areas of the Centre
  • Food hygiene in all dining and food service areas
  • Preparation of rooms, furniture, crockery and cutlery etc. for all forthcoming functions and services
  • Cleaning of all food service areas, and other rooms which may have been used for food service including the completion of cleaning schedules
  • Ensure all the coffee stations and lounge areas are clean, tidy and stocked up at all times. In the absence of bar staff replenish clean ashtrays
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction at all times, in accordance with the Always plan
  • Ensure professional manner towards customers and team members at all times
  • Train the members of the F&B team in basic SOPs, F&B programme and standards
  • Ensure the team Always maintain the required standards of work and customer care
  • Ensure correct uniform is maintained and worn at all times by the team
  • To comply with all relevant current statutory regulations e.g. Food Hygiene, Licensing Laws, Gaming, HASAW, Weights and Measures, Trades Descriptions etc.
  • Assisting other departments with duties as and when required
  • To deal with customer enquiries, queries and complaints in accordance with Company guidelines, referring difficult cases to the MoD/CSM
  • To create and capitalize on opportunities for making additional sales
  • To be smart and well-groomed at all times
  • To be efficient, pleasant and courteous at all times with customers
  • Any other duties within their capabilities
  • Complete Manager on Duty shifts and all tasks related
