My client a 5 star luxury hotel is currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager or Food and Beverage Manager to join their management team. Also looking for an Asistant Restaurant Manager - 24500-26000 temp accomodation for up to 3 months .

They have a long standing reputation as Scotland's finest country house hotel with 17 luxurious bedrooms, a 3 AA Rosette Restaurant and also the longest standing member of Relais and Chateaux in Scotland. They are constantly voted one of the best small hotels in the world. Candidates should be of the highest professional calibre, able to organize and motivate staff, and not afraid of hard work i.e. leading by example. Temporary live in accommodation is available. This is a full time position and you must be able to work within the United Kingdom.

Main responsibilities will be ensuring the efficient and effective management of all food and beverage services, running of the restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner; training of all staff to the standards set by the company with an aim to progress all team members to a higher position.

The Food and Beverage Manager must be able to solve problems quickly and in a professional and pleasant manner. They must be able to deal successfully with a wide variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Be initiative, have self-discipline, effective communications skills, and the ability to organize and direct the work of others. Your main areas are:

Main dining room

Public area food/drinks including afternoon tea and bar food

Room service

Meeting room setup and requirements

Private dining

Wine cellar management

All functions

Front and back bars

The ideal candidate for this position: 1 years previous experience in a similar role (with a minimum of 2 years in a 5 star property at supervisory/management level) courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service, must be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organize and plan ahead and have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment.
