Our client is one of the UK's leading and most progressive childrens activity centre operators. They are currently looking to recruit a F&B Manager for their leading site in Chelsea.
To assume personal accountability for the Food & Beverage department. To ensure that team members are trained, prepared and able to consistently deliver a high quality and entertaining service to members. To ensure that benchmark payroll levels are maintained, suitable to the demands of the business. To ensure that administration, till and database systems are operated effectively. To ensure that Health and Safety issues are monitored, maintained and reported. To ensure that cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained. To ensure that stock levels are maintained and that required gross margins are met.
·To ensure that all club team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
·To understand club financial budgets and targets and support the General Manager in their achievement.
·To manage and prepare rotas for food & beverage team members.
·To recruit, train and induct new team members.
·To ensure that team member presentation is of a high standard and that uniform is worn in the correct way.
·To attend and fully participate in department and management meetings, and to cascade information to team members as appropriate.
·To offer advice and information to members, and to respond to member comments and complaints.
·To communicate with external parties (maintenance contractors etc.) as appropriate
·To promote the company values at all times
·To ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to minimise or prevent loss or damage to Company assets.
·To ensure that all food that is served to members is cooked and presented to set standards and portion sizes
·To maintain and exceed budgeted Gross Margins
The ideal candidate needs to have a minimum of 1 years F&B Management experience within a multi revenue stream service led business. You must have good people management skills and have a strong understanding of GP %'s.
