Large local authority in the Cambridgeshire area are looking for a Projects Manager for an initial contract of 3 months.

Job Description:
FM Project Manager, Space Planner, Move Manager, minor construction works.

This temporary role (12 weeks with a possible extension) will manage a programme of moves and changes in the councils premises in Cambridgeshire.

You will be a FM Project Manager with space planning knowledge, move management experience and the ability to manage related minor construction works that might be necessary as part of a move, i.e. re-decs, re-flooring, electrical/data cabling etc.
You will have good IT and AutoCad skills, and the ability to manage specifications and contracts. You will have basic knowledge of Building Regulations, Health and Safety, general construction, electric/data connections etc.
You will attend project meetings and manage projects, including variations, stage payments, practical completion and handover, and keep accurate up to date records on our IT system.
