Our client is a London based charity who support homeless and vulnerable people to find decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives. They are currently looking for an organised, motivated and engaged Floating Support Worker to provide quality support services to individuals with complex needs in the London Borough of Brent.

As Floating Support Worker, you will provide tailored support services to a small caseload of individuals with complex needs including those with mental health and substance abuse issues. As the ideal candidate you'll be client focussed, engaging with clients in their own homes and in community drop-in centres providing short and long-term intervention. To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience of supporting vulnerable individuals in a supported housing or floating support context either paid or voluntary. Due to the nature of this position, you must have a proven understanding of homelessness and the impact it has on the lives of individuals, as well as proven ability to successfully lead key working sessions including conducting support and risk assessments and providing advocacy support to vulnerable individuals.

To be considered, you will be available immediately and be in possession of a fully enhanced DBS that is registered to the online update service.
