Build Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a housing association for Support Coordinators to support vulnerable adults maintain tenancies and live as independently as possible. This is a temporary role until the end of November there is a possibility of an extensive for 3 months
You will be required to visit users in their own homes so travel would be involved however a driving license isnt necessary. The working hours are 9.00-5.30 Monday to Friday and you would get a 1 hour lunch break and you must have a valid, basic DBS.
You will have experience in accessing support need of vulnerable adults and understand support planning and risk assessment and will be responsible for preparing support plans, carrying out risk assessments and managing case load of up to 18 people.
A background in care would be necessary for this role and knowledge of welfare benefits is highly desirable.
