Flight Specialists / Ticketing Agents

We are seeking Flight Specialists / Ticketing Agents at both senior and lower level to join an award winning tailor-made Tour Operator with fantastic headquarters based in a 17th century converted wool mill in Witney. Expect a fast-paced role supporting their Travel Consultants in delivering superb customer service to clients.

Due to continued success they are now searching for Flight Specialists / Ticketing Agents (at both senior and lower levels) to issue airline tickets, quickly and efficiently whilst advising on ways to save money.

Reporting to the Ticketing Manager the Flight Specialists / Ticketing Agents will deal with reissues, refunds, upgrades, Round the World fares and all other associated ticketing queries. Whether you are managing airline queues; manning the ticketing helpdesk; managing the airline inbox; being a GDS super user; performing checks or supporting team members it will be your fantastic attention to detail that delivers fantastic productivity and customer satisfaction.

To qualify… You could be a Flight Specialist / Ticketing Agent / Business Travel Consultant / Flight Ticketing Agent / Passenger Service Agent / Flight Coordinator / Flight Reservation Agent / Ticketing Consultant / Air Coordinator / Travel Agent / Travel Consultant or similar, we don't mind, as long as your CV demonstrates:

  • A GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths and English;
  • The ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively;
  • You are highly organised with excellent attention to detail;
  • You are keen to learn and are receptive to continued on-the-job training;
  • You are a good communicator at all levels within a business;
  • You are flexible and willing to turn a hand to any work that needs to be completed;
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • You are a strong team player who is also comfortable working independently;
  • A passion to work within the travel industry.

To be considered for the Senior Flight Specialist / Senior Ticketing Agent you will also need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a similar ticketing role;
  • Excellent GDS skills.
