Standard Working Arrangements are £17,050 Whole Time Equivalent pro-rated.

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to join our bank, supporting our nurses in all aspects of Patient Care. You will have the opportunity of working in a variety of clinical areas across the Trust.

Successful candidates must be reliable, motivated and enthusiastic, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and work within a multidisciplinary team. We are committed to the training and development of our workers; therefore, you will need to be able to attend training days required for your role.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will be qualified to either NVQ level II or QCF level II diploma in a health related subject or have equivalent related healthcare experience.
In addition you will be educated to a good standard of Numeracy and Literacy. Please state clearly on your application form each individual qualification you have obtained that is essential for the role, which you will find listed above and on the person specification of the job description. If you do not your application won’t be considered.

Trust induction for trained Healthcare Support Workers will comprise of your first day at the Royal Derby Hospital, followed by four days at London Road Community Hospital, Derby.
