Fleet Maintenance Engineer

Alecto Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a reputable tanker company, who are now looking to employe a skilled HGV Technician with strong knowledge of hydraulics.

The main responsibilities in this role is to provide fleet maintenance, repairs and fabrications to a variety of road tanker vehicles.

The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained and hold a City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent and have a strong working knowledge of hydraulics.

The Role:

  • Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs on a wide range of Tankers to VOSA standard
  • Complete work loads within the timeframe given to customers
  • Carry out a wide range of electrical defect repairs
  • Fault diagnostic and rectification using the latest manufacturers computer systems and tooling
  • Be able to diagnose and detect any additional faults

This is a permanent position working full time, Monday to Friday (Day shifts) offering a competitive salary up to £40,000pa + overtime and company benefits
