As a fleet management compliance controller you will be ensuring that all fleet managed vehicles are compliant either within customers guidelines, legislation or manufacturers guidelines, booking jobs onto the in-house computer system and liaising with both our branch network and Supply Chain Partners to ensure service delivery and that all works are undertaken cost effectively.
This is a high profile and very busy team that manage prestigious national contracts, so an attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy environment is essential.
The candidate they are looking for will have previous vehicle maintenance and or compliance experience, in either a planning or operational role.

Your duties as a Fleet Management Compliance Controller will include:
*Operator & vehicle licence administration
*To ensure all job & systems data is recorded accurately and on a timely basis
*To ensure maintenance schedules and MOT appointments are agreed, accurate and supplied on a timely basis
*Monitor system data integrity and provide reports as required
*Act upon system reports and ensure discrepancies are highlighted
*To manage external service and parts providers ensuring appropriate repair methods are undertaken, replacement parts supplied are of the required standard and cost and to provide assistance/advice to other colleagues
*To ensure all services provided to the customer and any costs associated with the service are re-cooped within the recharge process following the customer specific guidelines
*To ensure effective control of short term hire, workshop and workshop relief vehicles
*Maintain effective response times in relation to call centre duties
*Offer front line customer support and advice following an enquiry
*Allocate calls and resources to ensure that all calls and tasks are attended by the appropriate Engineer in contracted/targeted timescales to comply with agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA's) and Organisational targets;
*Ensure Key Account Customers and internal Management are regularly informed of call progression/ development through to satisfactory resolution;
*Manage the progress of all customer calls and escalate as appropriate, ensuring that all calls are managed to a satisfactory resolution by means of end-to-end management and within agreed customer SLA's;
*Ensure that the necessary processes, procedures, and engineer work instructions are understood and are followed thereby providing a consistent and professional service to the client;
*Assist with monitoring engineer productivity through diligent matching of their availability and skill set against existing workloads;
*General administrative duties as required such as raising and taking calls, monitoring of Call Management through the in-house telephony system, inputting of data onto the in-house computer system ensuring accuracy of records, procedures and documentation;
*Cost control, balancing customer requirements with commercial awareness.

Key Accountabilities
*Ensuring all fleet under your control and all associated ancillaries are compliant within either customer guidelines, legislation or manufacturers guidelines
*Customer satisfaction and call response times within SHB guidelines
*Incident management, meeting agreed timeframes for repairs
*Vehicle off the road/non-available time
*Allocating resource to our depot and mobile network
*Sub-contractor spend
*General cost control
*Adhering to all SHB processes and procedures
*Accurate and up to date records
*Ensure all costs are either recharged or within Contract parameters
*Demonstrate as an individual living the SHB values

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
*CPC National would be an advantage
*Suitable industry qualifications/time served or demonstrable experience within the industry
*A good general level of vehicle knowledge
*Ability to control maintenance costs and challenge if necessary
*Business standard IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook
*Excellent communication and customer care skills
*A good standard of written and spoken English
*A tenacious, enthusiastic, and flexible disposition. Some prior experience with call handling/customer service, engineer allocation, customer management
*Good self-starter with the ability to multi-task
*Ability to work well under pressure in a call centre environment
*Ability to work well as part of a team, and also on their own when required
*Be a well organised individual with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
