Fixed Asset Assistant, Birmingham
Due to our expansion plans, we are looking for a Fixed Asset Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will be able to accurately activate the new assets of the business and dispose of older assets in a timely basis.

Duties of the role will include:
- Activate the new assets as new stores are opened, on a monthly basis
- Dispose of assets when stores are closed
- Track those assets which are on a Finance Lease
- Identify and allocate capital expenditure
- Resolve queries, improve processes and work to agreed deadlines and SLAs
Ideally, the suitable candidate will possess experience within a finance environment, but this is not essential. The role will require proficiency in using systems and Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level and excellent data entry skills.
