Fitness Instructor - Brentwood

About: To provide a first-class fitness programme along with other fitness colleagues ensuring the facility and all colleagues provide a quality customer experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To support the Fitness Manager with the Centre’s member experience to include initiatives to engage and reward users such as gym challenges, member of the month etc
• To enable the delivery a variety of activities within the personal training programme, not restricted to the fitness suite.
• To demonstrate the correct way to use exercise equipment and give advice and encouragement.
• To demonstrate the correct way to use exercise equipment and give advice and encouragement.
• Check all new customers are inducted correctly and you are aware of any pre-existing injuries.

Skills and Experience:

• Level 2 Gym Instructor (or equivalent)
• Experience of working in a gym or within the leisure industry
• Excellent communication skills.
• General understanding of Health and Safety in a Leisure environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Hourly rate - £9.17 ph

Assignment - 6-9 months
