First Response Motor Claims Handler

Our client a fantastic organisation working within the Motor Claims arena are currently seeking an experienced FNOL Handler to join their team.

The shifts: 

Monday to Friday 8-4.30 or 10-6.30 1 in 5 Saturdays

The role:

To liaise with clients who are off the road as a result of a non-fault incident in order to arrange a replacement vehicle for them.

It is vital our handlers can be both proactive and reactive as prompt contact is vital to ensure the customer journey is as efficient as possible and we avoid the potential intervention of other companies.

We liaise with various work sources and insurance companies in order to enable us to make fast, informed decisions and ultimately get the customer into a hire vehicle as soon as possible.

The person:

Previous claims experience
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Good Word/Excel/Outlook knowledge
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with a strong attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure
Good negotiation and persuasion skills
Good timekeeper
Has an interest in further developing skills and experience within the credit hire and/or insurance industry.
To make sure in-house processes are adhered to
Keeping good levels of communication with other team members and departments
The ability to multitask
To manage a daily dairy
The ability to effectively handle inbound calls and outbound calls
To be able to successfully complete annual FCA compliance tests
To be able to deal with challenging customers and third party insurer handlers
