We have high expectations for our first line team. We don’t think it benefits your career or our clients to limit your access and exposure. Delivering the fix, quickly, is a priority, so we train the team up to be able to do just that.

The first line team are responsible for all desktop fixes, supporting users remotely and over the phone across 17 countries. You’ll be troubleshooting Windows 7 & 10, managing active directory and group policy and liaising with third party support teams from Sage and Bloomberg. You’ll gain exposure to Exchange 07 - 13 and Windows Servers 08 - 16 as well as switches, firewalls and other networking equipment.

To qualify or this position you will need strong exposure to desktop support specifically around Windows, Office applications and active directory, and ideally, some deskside support exposure too as you will spend up to 25% of your time in London visiting client sites. We will cover the travel cost.

You will be based at our head offices in Borden, a small village south-west of Sittingbourne in Kent. We are accessible easily from the M2 and based suitably far away from the Sittingbourne rush hour traffic (making your commute easier). We’re also a 20-minute bike ride from Sittingbourne train station if you like to cycle (don’t worry, there is a shower too, so you can feel fresh before you start the day). Snacks, fruit, drinks and various staples are provided in our kitchen and there’s an oven and grill if you like cooking fresh lunches. Sometimes staff cook for the entire office, fajitas or pancakes being our regular choices. In the summer we like to host Friday afternoon BBQs too.
