MMP Consultancy are currently assisting an extremely respected NHS Trust in Cambridgeshire to recruit an experienced and professional Fire Safety Advisor to join their Fire Safety team, which has just had an opening arise.

My client is looking for someone that is able to uphold an already High quality standard of fire safety across a large and complex Trust, to ensure legislative compliance and the continuing development and provision for staff, patients and public. The successful candidate will need to Identify fire safety priorities and assist in the overall prioritisation within the Trusts capital programme or PFI project management and resourcing, as well as give expert advice and guidance to managers and staff at all levels of the organisation and act as a focal point for the management of fire safety issues and cover staff training.

Applicants will require some of the Ideal skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Fire Qualifications (Ideally a member of the National Association of Healthcare Fire Officers)
  • Holder of NEBOSH, or CGPA Diploma in Fire prevention
  • Member of the National Association of Healthcare Fire Officers
  • Understanding of HTM's
  • NHS / Public sector experience
  • Fire brigade background is ideal but not essential

This role will be paying a gross daily rate of circa £250 and will be based INSIDE IR35, starting ASAP for 3-6 months ongoing and a review to extend thereafter. Covering 37.5 hour weeks Monday to Friday.
