Enthusiastic Fire Engineer required to support a specialist fire engineering consultancy based out of their attractive head office in Manchester, based just by Deansgate.

The fire engineer will join a reputable firm that is supported by many chartered professionals, and work on projects spanning various sectors. Career growth and a pathway to chartership status is highly encouraged and you will be supported in achieving your career goals.

The Fire Engineer

As the fire engineer you will be expected to:

  • Assist with complex projects across varying stages of project lifecycle
  • Manage small projects of your own
  • Technical design engineering responsibilities - smoke control, CFD, evacuation etc.
  • Use of fire engineering software such as CFAST, Pyrotism
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Provide the most ethical and financial solutions to building/ fire safety.

The Fire Engineer Qualifications

It is desirable to have any of the following:

  • Engineering or fire related BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng
  • AIFE / AIFireE
