Title: Fire and Security engineer

The Company: Founded over 30 years ago who specialise in fire and electrical services are looking for an additional engineer to join their growing team. With top industry accreditations you can guarantee you will be working with highly experienced and dedicated engineers.

Package:

  • Basic Salary up to £32,000
  • Call out rota
  • Company van
  • 21 days holiday entitlement + Bank holidays 
  • Travel time paid after 15 miles from home
  • Overtime available paid at 1.5x until 12pm Saturday, after 12pm & Sundays paid at 2.0x
  • Pay care scheme available after probation

Main Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance of fire alarm systems
  • Installation of fire alarm systems
  • Completing paperwork
  • Being customer facing, dealing with customer requests
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Completing works in line with current legislation and British Standards

Knowledge and experience:

  • 2+ Years’ experience as a fire alarm engineer
  • Full UK driving licence – no points desired
  • Industry related qualifications advantageous but not necessary
  • Ability to pass enhance security screening
  • Knowledge on the following panels: Advanced, C-Tech, Gent, Conventional & Addressable (all the standard panels – the majority across the sites are now open protocol)
