Salary: circa £21,000

Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Transaction Processor to join the RSPCA on a 12 month fixed term contract to ensure effective, efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions including income, Gift Aid claims, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, credit notes and expenses.

We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual who has recent experience working in a financial function.

What you’ll be doing as an RSPCA Financial Transaction Processor:

  • Processing income, requisitions, purchase orders, purchase invoices, credit notes, expenses and sales orders and invoices

  • Ensuring there is a clear record of financial transactions

  • Responding to queries from internal customers

  • Identifying, correcting or referring any errors or accounting discrepancies

  • Providing cost and revenue information in the required formats to the relevant people

  • Supporting any ad hoc projects

You’ll have:

  • A-Level qualification in Maths and English or equivalent

  • Experience of working in a transaction processing function

  • Experience of customer service

  • Computer processing skills

This is an exciting time to join the society as we are currently trialing hybrid working which means you will split your time between working from home and Southwater, with attendance in the office expected to be one or two days per week, as defined by the requirements of the role. This trial will be for a period of 6 months. If successful, it is expected that this role will continue to operate across both locations.
