Financial Services Wealth Planning Administrator

My client a very successful IFA practice is actively looking to recruit a skilled Wealth Planning, HNW Administrator to join their successful Team based in Based in Bagshot.  The individual will have a strong Wealth Planning Administration background and be able to hit the ground running quickly.  This is an incredibly great opportunity and would suit someone looking to work for a client who will recognise you skills and ability.   

The main duties will include the following:-

• Check and chase all compliance paperwork until present and on the database
• Confirm client risk profile is determined by processing questionnaires
• Collate data and research into existing plans by liaising with our outsourced team
• Updating the database in line with defined procedures having obtained information
• Liasing with the Planner to ensure that information is collected in a timely manner to enable the swift and accurate production of reports and cashflow models
• Ensure that updated correspondence is recorded against the client file
• Ensure that checklists are used and recorded on the file to document processes followed
• Preparing and collating application forms and additional documentation
• Processing new business and trades. This involved checking and submitting applications and chasing them through on a regular basis to completion.
• Checking that suitability letters are on file for new business
• Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order
• Following defined processes and procedures to ensure that business is transacted in line with the business’ requirements
• Adding fee expectations to the database both initial and ongoing
• Update the database with premium details and ensuring that the new business register is up to date and accurate
• Ensure that all concerned parties are kept updated on a regular basis
• Deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication and keep the planner in the loop
• Maintain and update the client file on an ongoing basis with updates and general communications and in preparation for ongoing reviews
• Collate information and prepare review spreadsheets for use by Planners as part of the Annual review service
• Prepare draft template review reports for Planners
• Prepare applications and instructions for completion by clients
• Implement recommendations following reviews or on an ad hoc basis
• Carry out ad hoc work relating to a clients change of circumstances ie. disengagement, death claim, change of address following current procedures
• Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order.
Non client related responsibilities include:
• Dealing with provider agency related queries
• Obtaining all on-line commission statements and chasing any outstanding statements
• Keeping template letters, documents and procedures up to date for use across the business by liaising with the support team coordinator
• Adding new schemes and funds to IRESS and liaising with Operations Director concerning this
• Assisting with ad hoc projects that the business may need to run

To be conmsidered you must be able to demonstrate the following:-

- Currently working within an IFA Support Administration role
- Previous exposure to usig 1st Software or Adviser Office
- Currently a Wealth Planning Administrator 
- Part Diploma qualified
- Previous experience working within Financial Services, namely pensions and investments
