Over time I am always seeking and keen to talk to well qualified and experienced Financial Services professionals.
Those applicants with Level 4 Diploma, CF30, IMC or Chartered Status will usually command the best roles with the best packages but I (or my client companies) are also very interested in performance - both in absolute and comparative (league table) terms and niche knowledge of specialist products and services.
For BDMs dealing with IFAs or other Intermediaries - it is always useful to know quality IFAs on the area you may be working and the sales role is always made easier by a brand name that the client or IFA will regard highly.
All obvious points but if you do want to talk about your future career I am always happy to offer an opinion that may well include to stick where you are -sometimes its difficult to see the wood fro the trees.
Really good jobs come up from time to time so even if I don't have the right thing now I will always be pleased to keep your details without sending out anywhere - and then contacting you when I have something of interest.
Equally somebody trying to get into the industry where the number of qualified Advisers is reducing is something I'm happy to talk about.
I've had my own Recruitment and Headhunting business covering the UK for 30 years following a career in Actuarial, Broker Consultancy (as was) and Senior Sales Management dealing via the IFA sector.
