Financial Services Director - Bristol

The Role

The Financial Services Director will play a pivotal role in delivering the Financial Services strategy. You will lead and inspire high performing and diverse teams across their region, ensuring a brilliant customer experience for all our customers. The Financial Services Director will have full accountability of the effective delivery of their Business Plan and the maintenance of regulatory and company standards.

Examples of what you will be doing:

  • Leading and inspiring the Sales Manager and Mortgage and Protection Consultant teams to be the best they can be; increasing productivity and effectiveness leading to a transformation in performance
  • Creating and developing an inspirational coaching culture at all levels, where Sales Managers actively support their teams to grow and achieve success
  • Maintain and develop comprehensive industry knowledge, understanding market trends and applying this to maximise business opportunities
  • Increasing cross sales in Protection, General Insurance and Conveyancing to ensure the best outcome for the customer
  • Create a culture of world class customer experience, taking ownership for providing fair and honest resolutions to customer queries
  • Creating a positive culture and environment for all aspects of risk and compliance, ensuring robust and fit for purpose frameworks and ways of working that not only meet all FCA requirements but are industry leading, best in class
  • Support and influence transformational projects across Financial Services including customer process, Net Promoter Score and learning and development initiatives

Experience you have that will set you up for success:

  • Previously been a member of a high performing Financial Services or Sales team, accountable for delivery of outstanding business performance and customer experience
  • Worked in an environment where your strong communication skills have created engaged teams who are understand and are aligned to the organisations purpose and vision
  • Experience of leading teams in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Experience of managing in a regulated environment
  • Proven experience of high performance
  • Ability to observe and assess individuals providing feedback and offering coaching
  • Analytical ability to enable fast and sound decision making
