A new vacancy has arisen for a Financial Services Administrator/Paraplanner to join a leading, independently operated financial services company within Newcastle upon Tyne. You will be responsible for dealing with new business administration for pension, protection and investments, together with acknowledgements and chasing for outstanding information. You will prepare quotations and obtain application forms etc. You will also deal with documentation at the annual review of clients. The role will be largely office based and it will be important to dovetail into an existing, tightly-knit team and essential to be able to foster good relations with clients.
Applicants applying for this vacancy must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the pensions, protection and investment markets. You will also be experienced in compiling suitability reports and have the ability to prepare reports for different types of business. Holding financial services qualifications will be advantageous together with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. You will be well presented, hard-working and a pro-active team player with initiative.
Knowledge of MS Word/Excel applications is expected and experience with PLUM or equivalent back-office systems would be an advantage.
