Financial Reporting Accountant

My client is a global PLC business with an ambitious growth agenda. In response, a need to strengthen the finance department has presented itself.

You will be joining a growing team at an exciting time, working closely with Head Office Accountants to ensure high quality financial outputs are delivered to the Head Office Accounts Manager and Group Accounts.

You will co-ordinate with Head Office Accountants to provide ancillary schedules for financial outputs, Financial outputs are defined as:

  • Monthly management accounts including:
  • Monthly estimates
  • DB management accounts
  • Central commentary
  • Issue based reconciliations
  • Central management accounts pack

You will also play an active role in the production of:

  • Quarterly forecasts
  • Annual budgets
  • MTP including ancillary schedules
  • Early indications
  • Year-end outlook
  • Continual review of head office accounting processes to identify efficiencies / improvements and ensure effective and efficient working practices are adopted
  • Implementation of changes in Central / Departmental structures
  • Continual reassessments of compliance procedures
  • Involved in ad-hoc projects as defined by Head Office Accounts Manager


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • It is likely you will be suitably qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 3 years post qualified experience
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
