Financial Planning Administrator - Newcastle
A brand-new opportunity has arisen to work in one of the most prestigious North East based Wealth Management practices for a Financial Planning Administrator with a particular bias towards operations and compliance.
This role will be extremely varied and will involve working closely with the General Manager and Compliance Director.
The purpose of the job is to undertake a wide range of administrative duties in relation to Operations and Compliance. You will be called upon to assist with information gathering, reporting and administration associated with compliance, both FCA and internal processes, completion of regulatory returns, HR, recruitment, training records and you will also work on various special projects.
You will manage the General Manager’s diary, attend meetings and take minutes, answer internal and external enquiries for example from product providers as well as supporting the managing director. Data input, data extraction, letter writing and email management will also form a part of the role.
You will also liaise with product providers and navigate their wrap platforms extracting relevant information for adviser reports.
To be considered for this role, applicants will ideally come from an administrative background within a financial planning practice with exceptional organisation and administration skills. Other required attributes include:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident with a range of Microsoft packages including Excel and word
- A good command of English grammar and spelling
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidentiality and integrity

This is a Monday- Friday, 9-5 working pattern, 1 hour for lunch.
