Financial Planner
Salary: £70,000-£80,000 basic + bonus (OTE £100K-£110K+)
Location: Edinburgh / Central Belt - flexible home/field working with office presence

A leading national wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to take ownership of an established client book and drive new business growth in Scotland. This is a unique opportunity to be the firm’s only Financial Planner in Scotland, managing a portfolio of around 100 high-net-worth families generating c. £400K in recurring income.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver high-quality financial planning advice and ongoing client reviews.

Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through networking, internal education, and professional relationships.

Collaborate with actuaries, consultants, and insurance professionals to generate leads from PMI schemes, Marsh Insurance, and other intermediaries.

Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.

Travel locally to meet clients and attend the Edinburgh office for networking and business development.

Experienced Financial Planner with a proven track record in servicing clients and generating new business.

Chartered Financial Planner preferred; Pension Transfer Specialist (PTS) advantageous.

Strong gravitas, interpersonal skills, and professionalism to engage clients and intermediaries.

Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently with remote support staff.

Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
