Financial Divisions are working with a well established Chartered IFA practice that is looking for an Employed Financial Planner to manage an existing client bank.
The successful Financial Planner will need a proven track record in the provision of holistic financial planning to high net worth clients (HNW), gained within an Independent Financial Advisory/Wealth Management environment, encompassing pensions, investment (including discretionary mandates), IHT and protection. This firm will offer a good salary and benefits which include study support, holidays, pension etc the prospects of high levels of bonus are very real.
As a Financial Planner you will be responsible for the provision of holistic financial advice to clients. Other responsibilities include:
Provide prospective and existing clients, with the appropriate financial advice and suitable products/services to meet their needs/expectations
Conduct individual client consultations and ongoing investment portfolio performance reviews, ensuring all documentation of meetings are recorded and any actions taken within prescribed timescales
Maintain a pro-active approach with clients for ongoing servicing of their financial needs, ensuring client service agreement is in place to specify and disclose level of service and costs
Sustainably achieve annual personal objectives and actively contribute to the objectives of the overall business
Continue to develop business, financial and technical expertise
Forge close relationships with Paraplanning and Client Services teams to ensure processing of all client business is handled in an accurate and timely manner
Where applicable, provide constructive feedback on colleagues’ performance for inclusion in the annual appraisal process
In order to be considered for this role the Financial Planner must be Qualified to a minimum of QCF Level 4 (Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent) and working towards Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning/ Chartered status (Level 6).
