Financial Crime Investigator - Originations

This is one for budding CSIs with Financial Services experience.

With financial crime techniques becoming increasingly complex, Financial Services organisations are investing constantly in improving their prevention, detection and investigation capabilities.

We are looking for two Financial Crime Investigators to work with a specialist mortgage provider, one based in Maidenhead and the other in London.

Using your experience of Financial Crime prevention and compliance, you will scrutinise applications and transactions to identify evidence of fraud or money laundering. Working with a range of internal stakeholders and external bodies such as law enforcement and regulatory bodies, you will ensure any suspicious activity or Sira matches are thoroughly investigated and communicated through the relevant channels quickly and accurately.

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert to colleagues across the organisation including operations and operations, guiding them on legislative changes and financial crime process.
