The Role:
We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our client and lead a small but dedicated team of professionals. Reporting into the Owners and working as a key member of the leadership team, you will lead on all finance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making and ensure profitability across all transactions.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, foreign currency transactions, and working capital to maintain financial stability, especially during seasonal fluctuations.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls, while identifying and mitigating financial risks specific to the industry.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Communication: Lead finance team operations, collaborate with department heads (e.g., sales, operations), and present financial insights to senior management and investors.
Desirable Skills:
Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Experience in budgeting, forecasting & multiple entity finance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial software & Excel.
