Financial Controller – Technology (Fully Remote)

Our client, a high-growth technology company, is seeking a Financial Controller to take ownership of financial reporting, controls, and compliance. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to refine financial processes and drive operational improvements within an innovative AI and advanced computing environment.

Role Overview:
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and strengthening internal controls. You will work closely with senior leadership to enhance financial transparency, optimise cash flow management, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, improving reporting efficiency.
• Lead compliance efforts, ensuring tax, audit, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Enhance financial controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.
• Support treasury operations, including liquidity management and banking relationships.
• Develop forecasting models to support strategic planning and budgeting.
• Collaborate with external auditors and advisors to maintain best practices.
• Provide financial insights to leadership, driving operational and strategic improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong experience in financial control, reporting, and compliance, ideally within the technology sector.
• Expertise in financial regulations, accounting standards, and audit processes.
• Proven track record of improving financial controls and reporting accuracy.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial insights effectively.
• Experience managing multi-currency financial structures in an international environment.
