Financial Controller

Financial Controller - Portsmouth - up to 90k DOE

This is a great opportunity to join a world leading navigation company - who design and create navigation and mission systems for a range of clients. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team, with the opportunity to progress into Finance Director. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Financial Controller in small-medium companies.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of external accounting services and office P&L
• Management of accounting records and financial compliance
• Oversight of financial statements and data analysis
• Monitoring expenditures and revenue forecasting
• Monitoring Project EACs and milestone schedules

Requirements:

• BSc in in accounting, economics, finance or equivalent
• Accounting qualification e.g. (ACCA or CIMA)
• A strong understanding of tax codes and laws
• Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices
