We are currently recruiting for a fully Qualified Financial Controller to join a growing business based just off the A11 near Attleborough. This is newly created role providing the opportunity to really add value from the offset and be part of an exciting time of change and growth. Reporting into the Finance Director this role will implement change and transform the financial reporting processes. You will manage the day to day finance operations and oversee the finance department delivering accurate insightful reports to support strategic decision making.

The business is moving at pace towards commercialisation, with a strong sales forecast and ever increasing brand awareness, it is seen this position will help implement and improve efficiencies within the finance team.

Key responsibilities will be:

Build strong internal and external relationships internally with the senior management team
Develop, coach and train finance staff
Manage VAT and PAYE
Preparation of full monthly management accounts including recommendations
Prepare budgets and forecasting
Oversee the payroll preparation
Manage the audit process
Assist with the development and maintenance of finance systems including implementation of new software
Prepare and present annual accounts
Support the FD with the Business strategy to support the decision making
Provide financial analysis and guidance

Key skills and traits of the incoming Financial Controller will be:

Fully qualified to ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
Strong eye for detail, problem solver and somebody who is solutions led
Systems focused with the ability to drive performance in the finance team
