Financial Controller - SME service based organisation - PT 25 hours per week - £40k-£65k FTE - Chorley based

You will be working for a successful SME service industry organisation based in Chorley, Lancashire. With over 40 years of experience in the market they specialise in. They have a fantastic reputation and have experienced strong organic growth over recent years.

Your new role
In your new role as Financial Controller you will be fully responsible for the organisations accounts and will business partner with the MD and Operations directors in providing commercial support in driving the business forward. Managing a small finance team of 5 you will be responsible for the monthly management accounts and reporting into group on a monthly basis. You will be responsible for all of the financial and statutory accounts and will deal with the bank on a monthly basis. You will support the annual stock take and will prepare the yearly forecast and complete monthly rolling forecasts from there. In this role you will complete monthly payroll for 60 employees and will work on a bespoke accounts package designed for the industry they operate in.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or will be QBE. You must have proven track record within a finance lead role and will have experience in working within the SME world. You will have the ability to provide commercially focussed accounts that allow a business to drive forward and must pride yourself on providing a first class service to your team and key stakeholders within the business.

What you'll get in return
This is a part time role and the you will work 20-25 hours per week across 4 days ideally. You will be paid £40k-£65k FTE. This role will offer you the opportunity to progress with a fast moving organisation. The hours can be flexible to your needs and will allow you to have a work/life balance. Holidays are 25 days + stats and will be pro-rata'd. The client is looking for a long term partner to support business and become engrained in the operation moving forward.
