Financial Controller

I am actively working alongside a bespoke client in the recruitment of a professional, hardworking and experienced Financial Controller. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management & control of the accounts department. Successful applicant will need to be proactive in their approach and support to their team and will directly contribute to the overall success in this role. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

- Provide management accounting service using existing format and systems

- Draft and provide weekly flash reports in a timely and effective manner

- Provide concise and accurate information to all managers to ensure finances are accurately accounted for

- Perform financial appraisals of project capital expenditure

- Set up and implement a system of KPI

- Control costing within business to ensure overall financial gain

- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets and the support to each team to execute

- Review performance against agreed financial objective, plans & budgets


- Hospitality background desirable

- A strong ability to work under own initiative

- Excellent Communication skills, both written and Verbal

- Achieve high standards of work within given timescales

- Flexible and professional approach

- Qualified accountant/ CIMA

- Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office

- Excellent level of spoken and written English
