Financial Controller - Northamptonshire

Posted 7 March by Macildowie Associates Ending soon

A leading manufacturing business in Northamptonshire is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to lead the finance division. You will report directly into the Managing Director and have responsibility for building close working relationships with operational heads across the organisation.

You will take up a well-rounded and broad role, with a responsibility to deliver in both the technical accounting and commercial business-facing aspects of the business. A natural ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders is key as well as a track record of delivering improvements in reporting and operational processes.

Key functions of this role include:

  • Defining and implementing a strategy to achieve financial targets
  • Introduce and improve on key metrics to measure the performance of the business.
  • Responsible for efficient and accurate accounting functions including banking and cashflow, accounts receivable, balance sheet accounts, accounts payable, VAT and company insurances.
  • Ensure that the accounting processes are compliant with legal requirements and reporting standards

You will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified and ideally have experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing organisation. As a senior figure in the finance team and a central contact to the business, you will naturally be able to work autonomously and deliver to strict deadlines.

IF you match the above criteria and want to join an exciting business then apply today for immediate consideration
