A financial Controller is required for an expanding construction and environmental company based in Sidcup Kent.
You will be managing a finance team of two reports for all three companies within the group and produce monthly / quarterly and year-end accounts as well as daily & weekly cash forecasts.
Some Key Responsibilities include.
Cash flow management (including daily bank recons and forecasting)
Application review and chasing
Monthly contractor reconciliation and payment
Contract reading and review
Monthly / quarterly and yearly accounts (including provisions, accruals, depreciation and other journals)
Various costing exercises
Monthly Statutory returns.
Quarterly Vat recons for (for all companies)
payroll by keeping a schedule of adjustments
Review and prepare for signature year end return for Companies House.
Review and prepare for pension launch
Liaising with the Bank on various issue
Liaising with Auditors on various issue
Review contracts and verify CIS Contractors as and when required.
Applying and arranging bonds on commercial developments.
Cover petty cash
Check all expense claims
Complete paperwork for the opening of all accounts and reviewing T&C.
