Financial Controller in SME-Full Time/Flexible Working/Part Time

I am currently recruiting a brilliant opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a rapidly growing SME in Leeds City Centre. The business is seeking a commercially savvy candidate to guide them through the next period of growth and change.

This is a multifaceted role which will see the successful candidate take over all areas of finance. As accounts are currently outsourced, the candidate will be responsible for implementing processes and systems to bring complete control in house. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who would embrace the challenge of taking a role and making it completely their own.

 This role will cover a wide range of accounting duties, giving the candidate the opportunity to enjoy a varied, all-round role. This will include, but not be limited to:

- Production of monthly management accounts
- Presenting accounts to board of directors
- Preparing board packs
- Explaining variance, profit & loss etc.
- Implementing processes
- Weekly payroll processing
- Processing Expenses
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Daily use of Xero and Microsoft Excel

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a standalone position which will allow them autonomy over the company accounts. They may be Qualified By Experience, or currently studying towards a professional qualification.
