Unique and exciting 12 Month contract opportunity with a Liverpool based Investment Business. Your role will be to provide all management and financial accounts services and carry out the treasury function for the Group. Your role will include the following;

- Management Accounts

- Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts
- Prepare monthly reporting pack for the Board of Directors
- Present to relevant parties (internal and external) 
- Interpret to financial and non-financial colleagues as appropriate
- Develop reporting methods in use
- Produce and analyse information for performance monitoring

- Financial Accounts

- Prepare all relevant information to the external auditors to facilitate the annual audit
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and financial statements for the individual members of it
- Ensure all investments are valued in accordance with recognised principles
- Prepare taxation reporting packs, and ensure all tax notes are reflected in the financial statements
- Liaise with auditors to ensure that the Financial Statements can be filed within the FCA timescales

- Budget

- Prepare annual budget for the business and the funds
- Consolidate budget

- Taxation (CT, VAT, NI, Paye)

- Liaise with advisors regarding the Corporation Tax computations for each of the members of the Group
- Ensure the timely submission of Corporation Tax returns to HMRC
- Prepare the quarterly Vat return and annual partial exemption adjustment
- Ensure that policies are applied correctly and appropriately
- Ensure all submissions are met accurately and in a timely manner

- Cashflow and Treasury Management

- Review and improve system of Treasury management, optimising the interest return for the Group
- Develop processes whereby reliable cashflow information is provided to relevant parties
- Ensure appropriate level of cash are available when needed
- Manage the drawdown process to ensure an appropriate flow of monies is maintained

- Payroll

- Supervisory role of company payroll, confirming changes as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with pensions auto-enrolment rules

Skills/Personal Attributes

- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant with Industry experience gained in in Management and Financial Accounts with the ability to think Commercially
- Experience of VAT in a partial exemption environment
- Highly organised and self-motivated individual

- Good attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems.
- Outgoing and sociable
- Team Player
