We are looking to a recruit a Financial Assessment Officer for our public sector client based in Uxbridge.
Your main task will be to produce accurate and timely financial assessments and reassessments for Adult Social Care clients; ensuring that all financial regulations and statutory obligations are met. You will work alongside colleagues in various teams in Adult Social Care, Corporate Collections, Corporate Payments, Client Financial Affairs Team and Adult Services Admin.
In order to succeed in this role you must be able to demonstrate:
- Good keyboard skills for timely and accurate data entry
- Ability to deal with situations and information with tact and discretion whilst adhering to data protection principles
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and use your initiative in decision making
- Good analytical skills in order to identify errors or anomalies in reports
A background in public sector financial assessments within Local Government would be desirable but any role that has involved following strict process maps to ensure financial assessments are calculated correctly and income maximised, within a customer service setting, is also suitable.
Applicants with knowledge of the Welfare Benefits System are preferred.
