This Thriving Global Entertainment Group is a household name, operating across the globe and continuing to experience growth and development in their international and domestic markets. They are also an employer of choice and have won multiple-awards for their content
They are now looking for a Finance Analyst for in their digital division supporting one of their fastest growing divisions. Sitting in the business this is a broad & business facing role incorporating actuals, FP&A, lots of business partnering.
•Monthly operating packs for presentation to senior finance team members as well as the Director of Interactive, plus divisional financial reporting requirements
•Monthly revenue by show analysis and key trends
•Monthly cost of sales and overheads reporting, monitoring departmental costs and headcount to budget and understanding variances
•Prepare budget, forecasts, and 5 year plan
•Quarterly reporting to the Limited Board
•Development and maintenance of reporting obligations to key partners such as revenue share reporting to producers and quarterly STV reporting.
•Management of the revenue statement reconciliations from our key customers and keeping abreast of cash flow implications
•Develop a sound understanding of the Interactive business and how it operates
•Provision of financial support to the Interactive management team in delivering cost plans, driving profitability and ongoing efficiencies
•Provision of support to management team in analysing business decisions and propositions
•Regularly monitor production and prize costs to optimise profitability
•Work with the management team to enforce compliance and risk management disciplines
•Ad-hoc analysis from both finance and the rest of the business as required.
Qualifications & experience:
•Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA/ACA)
• Experience of actuals & FP&A preferred but not essential and candidates straight from practice will also be considered
·Exposure to the media sector preferred but again not essential
•Strong systems skills - including Excel & PowerPoint. Exposure to Oracle and/or Hyperion advantageous
•Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
•Proactive and solution focused with high attention to detail
•Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Business facing and ability to quickly establish credibility with non-financial stakeholders
•Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, be effective and decisive under pressure
