Established in 1997 they are a highly regarded Independent Financial Advisers based in North Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. They specialise in providing bespoke independent financial planning, pension, investment, inheritance tax and trust solutions, to individuals and businesses in and around the local area. Their expertise, professionalism and unrivalled local reputation means that much of their business is from established clients and word of mouth recommendation.
Due to expansion they are now looking for a qualified Financial Adviser to work with them in growing and expanding the practise.
The ideal candidate would be diligent, motivated and must share their professional business ethics and values of a client-first philosophy. They offer an existing client bank to work with and the business does generate a good level of enquiries. They will offer technical training and support when required. Over time, the candidate would be expected to generate and build their own client bank.
In addition, administrative support is provided through experienced assistants.
The principal functions of this role will be to provide the clients with accurate information and bespoke deals that will enable them to make an educated choice that suits their specific requirements. You will need to maintain transparent financial and contract details and liaise with service providers.
A background in the trade or a related industry as well as FCA recognised qualifications in Financial planning are mandatory for candidates.
Must be Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum
Must be familiar with working in a regulated role/environment
Have experience of engaging with clients and building long term relationships instead of transactional business
Good time management skills
Act with integrity
Excellent knowledge of Financial planning solutions, taxation and investments
A excellent level of numeracy and IT skills
Familiarity with data input and Microsoft packages is preferred.
Self motivated and organised with fantastic communications skills
- An ability to work outside of traditional working hours and weekends if required.
Have own car and driving licence
Contacting clients and setting up meetings, at the office or client based.
Conducting in-depth reviews of client's financial circumstances, current provision and future aims
Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
Ensure sufficient client information obtained and analyse information gathered
Following market trends both and locally and globally and reporting back to the team
Annual gross salary of £40,000 with an uncapped bonus based on business generated, compliance controls and value added to existing client base. Company pension scheme available on completion of six months probation period.
The opportunity may arise to either work on a self-employed basis or to become an equity partner in the practise. They would also be open to discussing a flexible working pattern.
