Why do advisers contact recruitment firms?
In the main it is because they do not have enough access to clients, and the right type of client at that. And often they are asked to take all the risk by being self-employed and no matter how capable, starting from scratch before cash-flow catches up with you is next to impossible.
This role entails working within the security of an exclusive Joint Venture held between an IFA firm and a medical union with over 150,000 members. It is still a tough role. You work in conjunction with a dedicated sales manager and business development team, resulting in going leads being generated. But you need to be a good presenter, a confident networker and someone who can build an introducer list.
However you will be paid a basic salary. You will be supported. The people you will speak to will be on high levels of income and will have financial planning needs even from an early stage of their career. There is an attractive bonus structure and practice buy-out facility. In essence a package that properly rewards someone over the long-term.
