Job Title: Financial Adviser

Self Employed/ Employed

Location: Poole

Due to continued expansion, a prestigious IFA Practice is looking for established Independent Financial Adviser to join the organisation and assist in dealing with increasing levels of demand.

You will be Level 4 diploma qualified and working towards Chartered status with excellent relationship management skills.

Responsibilities:

Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises

Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims

Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services

keeping up to date with financial products and legislation

Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments

Ensure sufficient client information obtained and analyse information gathered

Undertake sufficient product and market research in conjunction with Paraplanners

Assisting clients to make informed decisions

Promoting and selling financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targets

Skills:

Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills

Self-motivation and organization

The requisite generic financial services knowledge and Level 4 qualification

Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm’s record keeping requirements

A good level of numeracy and IT skills

Discretion and an understanding of the need for client confidentiality

Working towards Chartered status is an advantage
