*Ensure annual reports and statutory accounts are prepared in accordance with Charity SORP
* Manage workload of team and delegate appropriately and manage the performance of staff through regular 1-2-1 meetings
*Implementing, enforcing and monitoring internal controls procedures
*Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and completing returns with accuracy and on time
*Delivery of month end timetable
*Preparation of key reports for management including weekly cash flow reporting, monthly investment reporting, fixed asset reporting and balance sheet review commentary
*Co-ordinate the year end close process, including provision of detailed guidance to staff
*Co-ordinate the external audit process, including the production and collation of audit schedules.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with previous experience in staff management. This role would suit an ACA qualified accountant with 3+ years post qualification experience in industry. Experience in all industries will be considered.
