Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant - Stevenage / Hybrid - £55,000 - £65,000

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This role requires an immediately available candidate, or candidate on short-notice who can join this growing and successful organisation to support the Financial Controller for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. You will be involved with all areas of financial accounting, supporting the month end financial control activities, preparing cash flow forecasts, supporting year-end close and external audit, and other areas including VAT. You will be fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have a strong Financial Accounting background. The role will suit a candidate from industry or practice and this company offers excellent career progression and benefits. You will be someone highly accurate and in the detail, and able to deliver to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• All areas of Financial Accounting and Reporting
• Taking responsibility for the balance sheet, profit & loss and cashflow statement
• Month-end financial control activities
• Supporting the year end audit process
• Adhering to continuous improvement and process improvement

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong Financial Accounting and Reporting experience
• Good Excel and System Skills
