Are you looking for a Financial Accountant role with a London University?

Benefits include 30 days holidays + Christmas and 2 days at Easter.

The successful candidate will be at CCAB qualified and have previous experience managing the financial accounting team within a complex organisation.

Day to day duties include:

  • Management of the Financial Accounting team (2 qualified accountants)
  • Preparing quarterly and annual accounts and other statutory returns
  • Preparing cashflow forecasts
  • Ensuring sufficient cash is available for operations and maximising returns on cash deposits
  • Maintaining University asset register and assisting with evaluation and financial management of capital
  • Preparing 5 year balance sheet projections for the University
  • Assisting in the preparation of tax computations including VAT returns

Essential:

  • CCAB qualified (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience of producing statutory accounts and cash flow forecasts within a non-profit organisation
  • Previous experience managing a team
